Arab Company for Restaurants & Fast Food (ACRFF) was established in 2010, ACRFF is one of the fastest growing companies in the region and the largest restaurant chain operator in Palestine, we gained the franchise rights for the KFC and Pizza Hut brands and started operation in late 2011, and we are now operating 10 restaurants with more than 450 employees.

ACRFF is offering the following career opportunity

Position: Quality Control & Assurance Manager.

Main Function: To ensure KFC Palestine develops and closely manages raw material and supply chain vendors to meet global food safety and quality standards. 
Key to this role will be to develop new and existing suppliers and continuously monitor compliance and performance against global guidelines.
The role will also need to focus on proactively troubleshooting and problem-solving in partnership with suppliers and restaurants.

Major Job responsibilities include:

Supplier Quality Assurance:

Drive and monitor quality standards and supplier performance across the third party supply base, to ensure product quality at all parts of the supply chain through:

-    Ensure 100% of products have up to date accurate specifications.
-    Food safety, quality system and distribution Centre audits (3rd party performed).
-    Partner with suppliers to close any gaps identified in audits.
-    Conducting Product cutting reviews.
-    Supplier KPI setting and management.
-    Monitoring product regulatory control and action as necessary.

Product Quality Improvement

Respond to on-going consumer trends, store and customer complaints and supplier initiatives to drive on-going product quality improvement of existing KFC products.

Scoping out QA & Supply Chain Strategy

Explore and assess capability of local suppliers to ensure the business is set up for long term growth.

Performs any related work as required.

Work experience:

The incumbent of this position shall have 3-5 years technical management experience gained ideally within Food Manufacturing, Retail or Food Service/QSR.
The candidate should demonstrate a drive for results and the ability to clearly drive the technical agenda both internally and externally.
Proven success in technical project management delivery and the ability to work cross-functionally with Ops, Marketing, Commercial functions.

Academic Qualifications

B.A degree in Food Science/Food Technology is a must.
Languages
Arabic, Fluent English is a must.

-    Hold suppliers to account for any committed actions.
-    Gravitas and ability to challenge appropriately.
-    Provide regular updates to GM of KFC Palestine and escalate matters when issues arise.
