Job Description: Quality Control Officer - Production and Filling Department

As a Quality Control Officer in our Production and Filling Department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet or exceed these stringent standards.

Position Overview:

This role should be filled with a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Officer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control processes, an understanding of ISO and GMP guidelines, and a passion for maintaining product excellence. This role involves monitoring, inspecting, and testing products at various stages of the production and filling process to ensure they meet our quality and safety specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, components, and packaging materials before they are used in production.
• Receive, label, and store the raw material according to the company guidelines.
• Manage inventory of the raw material and finished (unfilled) products.
• Oversee and supervise daily work operations, and production processes to ensure they adhere to established quality standards, ISO, and GMP requirements. This includes the weighing and production process in full.
• Perform in-process quality checks during manufacturing, including visual inspections, measurements, and tests as necessary.
• Collect and analyze samples from production batches, conduct physical and chemical tests, and record accurate data.
• Identify and document any deviations from quality standards and work with relevant teams to address and rectify issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to implement corrective and preventive actions based on quality trends and findings.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of all quality control activities, test results, and inspections.
• Assist in the investigation of customer complaints related to product quality, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Support the training of production and filling personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with ISO and GMP regulations.
• Stay updated with industry trends and developments in quality control and contribute to the enhancement of departmental processes.
• Ensuring that all the above is done according to company guidelines and ensuring that all relevant forms, documents, and reports are prepared as requested.
• Create and maintain all necessary documentation for product development, licensing, and manufacturing.

• BSc Chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent field.
• holds a Jerusalem ID.
• Good written and oral communication skills in Arabic and English, Hebrew is a plus.
• Experience as a Quality Controller is an added value.
