Job Description
Action Against Hunger (ACF) is a humanitarian, non-governmental, non-political, non-denominational and non-profit making organisation working in the Palestinian Territory since 2002. ACF is recruiting for its Nablus office a:
Bookkeeper / Receptionist
For an initial 4 months period
The Candidate will:
-Perform secretarial tasks which include, but not limited to: answering phone calls, drafting letters, photocopying, faxing, filing and scanning documents.
-Monitor the stationary stock linking it to the procurement plan.
-Occasionally manage the Nablus petty cash.
-Keep the Nablus staff attendance sheets.
-Provide all Human Resource forms and insure correct filling procedures.
-Follow up of the employee insurance contracts.
-Drive ACF Cars when needed/requested.
-Cover for the Base Logistician and/or Base Administrator as needed/requested.
Profile of the Candidate:
-Diploma or BA in related areas and/or equivalent working experience.
-Previous experience in a similar position, preferably within INGOs for at least one year.
-Valid Driving License and at least 2 years driving experience.
-Excellent geographical knowledge of the West Bank, particularly the northern West Bank.
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office package and internet.
-Excellent organizational skills and multitasking skills.
-Diplomacy, team player and good sense of humor.
-Fluency in English and Arabic written and spoken.
