Receptionist work

Job Description

The Representative Office of Canada in Ramallah is seeking a qualified Receptionist for a one-month contract starting in June, 2009 as well as other qualified candidates for future short-term Receptionist work.

The main duties of the temporary receptionist are:
Screening all telephone enquiries / calls to the office and handling the main switchboard
Answering public inquiries of a general nature
Preparing, registering and distributing mail and correspondence
Welcoming Office visitors.

Mandatory requirements:
Minimum 18 months' combined education and experience in administration
or client communications
Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic

Desirable qualifications:
Experience working with international organizations
Post-secondary education in business administration
Written and spoken French highly desirable
Written and spoken Hebrew desirable
