Position: Referral System Supervisor
Responsible to: Rehabilitation and Mainstream Officer
Location: Gaza city

Non-governmental, non-religious, non-political and non-profit making, it works alongside people with disabilities (PwDs), whatever the context, offering them assistance and supporting them in their efforts to become self-reliant. Since its creation, the organisation has set up programmes in approximately 60 countries and intervened in many emergency situations
THE JOB
Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation and Mainstream Officer ( RMO) , the referral system supervisor based in Gaza City, will :
-Establish 5 referral networks system with the support of RMO and Technical Advisor (TA)
-Participate in the development of the monitoring tools , reports and forms of the referral network system
-support partners Social workers in conducting and following up for individual meeting between SW and identified key disability stakeholders(technician) involved in medical rehabilitation of PwD.
-conduct 2-3 joint meeting to present to all key Disability Service Providers (DSP) the system(s) with common points and difference + lessons learned analysis to develop referral network plan
-conduct quarterly SW meeting from 5 governorates at Gaza strip level in each of the centers to develop and activate referral network plan
-Support TA/RMO in the implementation of the needs assessment for trainings of families of PwDs , adults and young couples.
-Support partners social workers in identification and coordination of the training for families of PwDs in Gaza on early detection related topics.
-Support the TA/RMO in the coordination for the training courses for families, young adults and couples.
-Support the TA/RMO in the implementation of the final assessment of a sample of the trained families.
-Support partners organizations’ social workers to implement social support sessions / group sessions with families of PwDs in particular Children with cerebral Palsy and children with multiple disabilities (CwCP/MD).
-Support and follow up with partners social workers the trained families plans to implement 5 awareness campaigns
-Support the RMO and TA in the identification of the system through data collection, field visits to coordinate with emergency mainstream stakeholders.
-Support RMO and TA in the organization and implementation of working groups meetings per governorate with DSPs and mainstream emergency stakeholders for tool design and identification of referral system
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
-Must have a bachelor degree in Sociology.
-Remarkable experience in the field of networking and coordination with stakeholders.
-Previous work experience with INGO
-Proficiency in MS Office.
-Strong organizational skills, Diplomatic with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Sensitive to the needs of vulnerable groups.
-Fluent in English (written and spoken), and Arabic
Initial contract will be for a period of 11 months and the position is based in Gaza.
