Palestinian electricity regulatory council (PERC) is a new institution established by the National Authority in 2009. PERC will be responsible for the organization of the electricity sector in Palestine. PERC is seeking to recruit dynamic and highly motivated Palestinian citizens for the following senior
position:
 
Regulatory Attorney
1-Track and analyze emerging legislative activities, laws, amendments and discussions, and prepare appropriate responses;
2-Assist in resolving complaints from either concessionaires or consumers;
3-Work on any legal matters related to the licenses and concessions;
4-Assist in preparing all reports and documents PERC must deliver to Government agencies, such as Annual Reports, budget requests, etc.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
1-University degree in law
2- 7 years or more related professional experience, preferably in a senior executive position
3-Fluency of English required
4-Knowledge of recent energy and utility legislation of Palestine or other regional locations desirable
5-Preferred to have experience in privatization, corporate and commercial law
6-Experience working with policy makers, executive, and senior managers to achieve established goals and lasting results.
