Médecins du Monde (MDM) France is an International Medical Organization, which has been present in the Palestinian Territories since 1995. It operates in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank through offices located in Jerusalem, Gaza and Nablus.

MDM is currently looking for qualified candidates to fill the position of:

Reproductive Health Project Officer, Gaza Base (1 Position)

Starting date: May 4th, 2014
Duration: 1 Full Time Contract, 2 months (long term extension subject to funds approval)


I-MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

To support the implementation of a reproductive health project in its preparation and development phase.
To support a technical assessment and contribute to the analysis of the training needs.
To support reproductive health trainings & follow-ups to Ministry of Health (MoH) and local NGO medical and para-medical staff
Reporting and follow-up of project activities


II-REQUIRMENTS:

Medical doctor (gynecologist / public health doctor) or Midwife or Nurse (specialized in reproductive health) .
Experience in public health project/ Support to CBOs/MoH
Experience in conducting trainings/ ToRs (Terms Of References) / in-service visits
Experience in monitoring and evaluation/assessment
Adherence to reproductive health approach in MdM (read position paper on SRH MdM)
Good contact/ patience/ diplomacy/ initiatives/autonomy/dynamism
Good command of English and Arabic languages (both written and spoken)
Computer skills (word, excel, power point, statistics software)
At least 3 years of work experience with NGOs.
