The Housing Cooperative Union – Palestine (PUHC) is a registered cooperative union at the Palestinian Ministry of Labour. The Union consists of a General Assembly which is the highest decision-making body in the organization. PUHC have 30 housing cooperatives. These 30 cooperatives represent 1,124 males and 543 females. PUHC’s vision is to be an active and empowered cooperative union, contributing to the growth and development of a competitive Palestinian housing sector that fulfils the needs of the sector stakeholders and contributes to sustainable development.

The PHCU in partnership with the Swedish organization- We Effect, are carrying out a project titled: “Resilience and Dignity housing project”. Under the framework of the project, the Palestine Housing Cooperative Union (PUHC) is planning to develop an affordable housing model entitled: Resilience and Dignity Cooperative Housing (RDCH). The aim of RDCH is to start a housing community for people with limited incomes and for those who do not have secure and sustainable incomes, i.e. farmers, day labourer, street vendors, women- headed households.
The Engineering Designing office has a core role within the PUHC’s engineering department, they will be responsible for designing the Architectural, structural, mechanical and electrical model of the housing and coordinating all of them and delivering the AutoCAD drawings (soft and hard copies), the 3D model, the site plan for housing and for the unit, the details drawings, the reports and schedule of site visits materials selection, and BOQs to PUHC.

The Engineering Designing office or teammaking an application for the contract shall submit a detailed proposal (in either Arabic or English) for designing the RDCH housing project. The proposal should include two parts; technical and financial (lump sum). The proposal should be submitted in a sealed envelope to (PUHC) Procurement Unit   no later than Saturday 25/11/2017 at 11:00 am
