Arab World for Research and Development (AWRAD) is a pioneering social research and development firm. We work in Palestine and the Arab region in socio-economic research, monitoring and evaluation, survey research, public opinion polling, data analytics, and policy analysis. Responsibilities for this position include:
- Priority area: Draft analytical reports and studies using graphs, figures, tables, and other illustrations;
- Design and draft research proposals and methods (qualitative and quantitative);
- Prepare research tools including templates, questionnaires, and protocols for focus groups, interviews, and case studies;
- Design sample selection and distribution methodology;
- Train field teams and supervise them;
- Ensure quality of research at all stages;
- Analyze and interpret data;
- Overall team support.

Applicants MUST have the following competencies:
- A solid social science background in sociology, statistics, economics, or other social science fields,
- Proven record (of at least 2 years) in research, reports writing, and analytical skills,
- Full fluency in English and Arabic,
- Experience in data analysis, writing reports, research papers, and other related materials.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of proven experience for level 1; 3 years for level 2; and 4 years for level 3).
- Candidate academic degree can range from Social Sciences including Sociology, Politics, Economics, Public Policy, Human Rights, Gender Studies, and Statistics.
- Starting salary is based on experience and competence (level 1: $1000; level 2: $1500; level 3: $2000).
- This is a full-time, with daily physical presence in the Ramallah office.
It is expected that a successful applicant will be open-minded, creative, industrious, and holds herself/himself to high personal standards. Willingness to work on multidisciplinary projects and teamwork are crucial values at AWRAD. It must be noted that the AWRAD team members work for long hours.
