Researcher/Business Development Specialist

 
Role and Responsibilities
-Develop technical and financial proposals for new business, including, consulting, training, and technical assistance.
-Develop quantitative and qualitative tools for the various projects.
-Coordinate with statistician on all quantitative research.
-Manage consulting projects including monitoring and evaluation (M&E), needs assessments, and social/economic research.
-Take part in implementation of various projects that can include conducting interviews, focus groups, presentations and facilitating workshops. This might also include travel to the field.
-Identify and recruit technical experts to serve as external consultants on projects in a variety of fields.
-Analyze quantitative (SPSS output) and qualitative data (document review,
-Provide in-depth analysis on a variety of issues depending on project assignment.
-Produce final reports for clients in English.
-Represent Riyada to clients and managing the work of external consultants.
 
Qualifications
-University degree in a relevant field: Sociology, Business Administration, Economics or English Literature.
-At least three years of professional experience in international development, program management, and research.
-Familiarity with quantitative and qualitative research tools.
-Experience with qualitative data analysis, especially SPSS.
-Ability to analyze and report on a variety of different sectors and subjects, depending on assignment.
-Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Solid analytical and creative problem solving skills.
-Exceptional Organizational skills, including task and time management, ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and meet deadlines.
-Fluency in English, fluency in Arabic preferred.
