Resource Developer

Job Description
Working with the Resource Development Coordinator under the supervision of the Managing Director, the Resource Developer will support the organization’s resource development efforts and other tasks as assigned by the Resource Development Coordinator.
 
Reports to: Managing Director

Responsibilities

Fundraising
-Prepares, submits and manages grant proposals
-Perform prospect research on foundations, corporations and public sources to identify prospective funders
-Gather necessary information to report to funders on current and/or completed grant programmes
-Ensure that funders are properly credited on all relevant materials, printed and online.
-Participate in planning and other meetings related to resource development
-Assist in maintaining all records pertaining to grant tracking and reporting
-Assist with special activities to increase the organization’s visibility among funders

Monitoring & Evaluation
-Participate in the creation and implementation of various M&E tools
-Communicate regularly with staff in order to stay informed of new and expanded programming activities

Requirements
-At least five years of experience in the field of Fundraising, Resource Development or Project Management
-Ability to work under pressure and in a team-setting
-Very good English speaking, writing and understanding
-Basic understanding of Arabic language, proficiency is preferred
