MA’AN Development Center is seeking qualified candidates for the position of :
Resource Development Officer
Job Purpose:
The role of the Resource Development Officer is to work with a team consisting of the Director General, the Program Director, and the Resource Development officer in carrying out its mission as a center working for sustainable human development, particularly working in acquiring financial resources for the Center, enhancing its developmental strategies, and expanding and enhancing MA’AN’s relationships with local and international partners.
Major Duties:
-To work with the Director General, the Program Director, and the Resource Development Coordinators in formulating new programs and projects.
-To work with the Resource Team in research and proposal writing for local and international donors.
-To prepare reports in English to the donating agencies
- To work with the PMR coordinator to monitor the indicators of all projects at MA’AN.
- To develop MA’AN’s opportunities for cooperation with international NGOs through increasing access to global information.
-To prepare English and Arabic publications, brochures, pamphlets, and profiles of MA’AN, and particularly in updating MA’AN’s homepage, as well as preparing MA’AN’s annual report.
-To contribute to internal training, particularly in report and proposal writing and other areas of competency.
Requirements:
Job Qualifications:
1. BA with five years experience or MA with three years in public relations, development, English or social studies.
Skills
1-Strong abilities in report and proposal writing and Logframe development.
2-Knowledge of Monitoring and Evaluation
3- Strong communication skills.
4- Excellent English language. Proficiency in Arabic
5-Creativity and innovation in developing new ideas and programs.
6- Adept skills in project development.
7- Proficiency in WinWord, Excel, Access, and MS Project.
8- Proficient skills in cooperation and team-building.
Personal Attributes:
1- Readiness to work within a team.
2- Willingness to work under stress and a heavy workload.
3- Ability to form good relationships with colleagues and partners.
