Safety and Environmental Officers

An Experienced Engineering and Construction firm with is currently operating in the water and wastewater sectors in Gaza Strip. We are seeking the following full time positions for upcoming engineering and construction work in Gaza on projects funded by international donors.
 

Safety and Environmental Officers

With 3+ years of solid experience in construction of Infrastructure projects; compliance with international donor quality requirements is a must

Qualifications:

-A relevant degree plus training related to security and safety measures.
-At least three years of progressively responsible professional supervisory/ management experience in safety for construction projects
-Very good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
-Willingness to work beyond regular working hours

The Project Safety Officer is responsible to do the following:
-Undertakes daily site inspections to ensure compliance to the Company policies
-Maintain close liaison with client in resolving project issues
-Attend accidents/near misses, Investigates, prepare reports, suggest & implement preventive measures and distribute to all concerned parties
-Consults Manager, assists and coordinate training activities to enhance safety awareness of employees
-Advise project middle management for corrective action on safety violations.
-Reports safety status and statistics data
