Job Summary
The Health Safety and Security Coordinator is responsible for performing clerical, administrative, and general support activities to assist the facilitation of safety, and security risks management requirements within JWBG. This position will be responsible for confidential and time sensitive material and will support an individual or multiple staff members through a variety of tasks related to the safety and security risk management function.

Roles and Key Responsibilities
- Assist staff in organizing, maintaining, and uploading country and area security documents and procedures in compliance with CRS policy
- Help plan, schedule, and coordinate safety and security training events, risk assessments, interviews, group consultations, and stakeholder interactions
- Support the operability of country and area level emergency contact lists and related communication means
- Assist in the tracking and follow up of country incident logs, security improvement work plans, risk registers, and approved journey management plans and associated tracking systems
- Ensure incidents are reported according to CRS procedures, ensuring the confidentiality of these reports Provide the Head of Office with advice based on changes to the context and strategies for team access to risky or remote areas
- Conduct a regular assessment of facilities and operational areas to identify any vulnerabilities and recommend corrections.
- Support routine and emergency security information dissemination as directed
- Provide editing, formatting, and desk top publishing support for security related documentation requirements
- Aid in keeping all programs in compliance with CRS safety and security standards
- Track and maintain documentation related to the successful completion of required staff security trainings, visitor briefings, and area risk level changes
- Schedule, document, and support the successful completion of all annual safety requirements related to CRS facilities and security related asset inspections and assessments, ensuring all follow up items are included in a work plan with deliverable dates and are resolved.
- Support the organization and execution of practice drills related to CRS facilities emergency and contingency plans
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 years of office and administrative experience.
Preferred Qualification
- Previous experience in roles related to coordination and support of humanitarian programs.

- Proficient working knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint.
Required Languages - Fluency in local language, both written and verbal ; Good abilities in English, both written and verbal is a plus.
Travel - Throughout the country up to 50% of the time, must be willing to travel across Gaza.
