We are looking for a mid-level Scholarship and Funding Officer who is self-driven, passionate, and ready to work with an amazing team.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and managing scholarship and funding programs: This involves creating and implementing strategies to identify potential donors and sponsors, developing eligibility criteria, and ensuring that the application and selection process is fair and transparent.
- Researching and applying for grants: The scholarship and fund officer may be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, developing grant proposals, and managing the reporting requirements associated with grant-funded programs.
- Building and maintaining relationships with donors and sponsors: This involves communicating with current and potential donors to understand their needs and preferences, providing regular updates on the impact of their contributions, and ensuring that their philanthropic goals are aligned with the organization's mission and values.
- Administering scholarships and grants: The scholarship and fund officer is responsible for disbursing scholarship and grant funds, ensuring that recipients meet eligibility requirements, and managing any issues or disputes that may arise.
- Marketing and communications: The scholarship and fund officer may be responsible for promoting scholarship and funding opportunities to potential donors and applicants, through various communication channels such as social media, email newsletters, and events.
- Budgeting and financial management: The scholarship and fund officer may be responsible for managing the organization's scholarship and funding budget, ensuring that it is used efficiently and effectively.
- Develop your professional skills and expertise on a constant basis, staying up to date on developments that are pertinent to your work and the overall objectives of your business.
- Help in the execution of the team's operational plan and the defined processes, policies, guidelines, applicant selection, and tenure management. This includes processing system reports and requests, creating scholarship offers, creating scholarships and payments.
- By responding to questions from staff and students, helping with data collection, creating reports, and keeping an eye on enrollment and progress as needed, you may aid the team in providing services.

YOUR PROFILE
- Proven work experience for 2-3 years.
- Experience in writing clear and comprehensive reports.
- Good spoken and written English and able to communicate matters clearly.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Well advanced in the use of the computer in MS Office, especially MS Excel due to compiling, analyzing, and reporting data business processes.
- Strong attention to details.
- Great team player.
