Business Alliance HR is recruiting a School Principal for a private school, located in Ramallah, Palestine. This job opportunity is for nationals and expats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide strategic direction and development of the school.
2. Work in partnership with the Executive Body, staff, and parents to generate the ethos and values which will underpin the school.
3. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the school and respond and report to the Executive Body as required.
4. Teaching and Learning: Continue to maintain an environment that promotes and secures good teaching, effective learning, high standards of achievement, and good behavior.
5. Monitor and evaluate the quality of teaching and learning and standards of achievement of all pupils in the school through appropriate methods
6. Leading and managing staff.
7. Work with governors and senior colleagues to recruit and retain staff of the highest quality.
8. Set appropriate priorities for expenditure, allocation of funds, and effective administration and control.
9. Manage, monitor, and review the range, quality, and use of all available resources in order to improve the quality of education, improve pupils’ achievements, ensure efficiency, and secure value for money.
10. Accountability: Continue to develop an organization in which all the staff recognizes that they are accountable for the success of the school.
11. Safeguarding Children & Safer Recruitment: Ensure the policies and procedures adopted by the school are fully implemented and followed by all staff.
12. Curriculum Development and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with educational trends, research, and best practices in curriculum development and innovation.
13. Student Support and Well-being: Develop and implement comprehensive student support programs to address the academic, emotional, and social needs of students.
14. Stakeholder Engagement: Foster positive relationships with parents, involving them in their child's education and school activities.
15. Professional Development and Staff Training: Identify the professional development needs of staff and coordinate training programs to enhance their teaching skills, subject knowledge, and leadership abilities.
16. External Accreditation and Compliance: Liaise with external accreditation bodies and coordinate necessary evaluations and inspections.
17. Ensure the school's compliance with local education regulations, health and safety guidelines, and child protection policies.
18. Prepare and submit reports to relevant educational authorities, demonstrating the school's adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
19. Financial Management and Resource Allocation: Collaborate with the school's finance department to develop and manage the annual budget.

9. Experience in IGCSE is highly preferred.

   Years of experience:

   At least 10 years of experience in the Education field, and 5 years of them in a management/leadership role.

   
   

   Education:

   Master's degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a relevant field.

   Ph.D. is preferred.

   Location:
   Ramallah, Palestine.
   
   Languages Required:
   Fluent in English is a must.
   Arabic is preferred.
