Security Supervisor

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees invites applications from qualified candidates for the posts of:

1-Vacancy No. : 129/2010/X
2-Duty Station : Field Office - Jerusalem
3-Basic Salary : 402.34JD that varies in accordance to the pay policies set by the Agency.
4-Allowances : Family Allowances payable up to 7 children and spouse.
An allowance of 510 NIS payable in JD at UNRWA rate
5-Other Benefits : Health Insurance, Provident Fund

6-Qualifications:
-Successful completion of full secondary education
-At least two years experience in a similar field of work
-working knowledge of English and Arabic.
-Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain working relationships in a multi-cultural environment;
-Proven ability to perform at the supervisory level with minimal direct supervision;
-Good communicator in both spoken and written English, including ability to draft/edit a variety of written reports and other studies, and ability to articulate ideas in a clear and concise style.

Desirable Qualifications:
-Previous guard and supervisory experience;
-Qualification in dealing with fire prevention/fighting and first aid;
-Qualification in dealing with security matters.
-Candidate will be offered a contract of one year duration
