Senior Accountant

Job Description

VITAS Palestine Microfinance Private Shareholding Limited Liability Company, is a private shareholding limited liability company, registered at the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy – Companies Comptroller – Registration Number (562526723) (hereinafter referred to as “VITAS Palestine”);

Tasks and Responsibilities:

1- Prepare all day to day financial & accounting matters.

2- Ensure financial transactions are properly recorded in the accounting system in compliance with Vitas requirements.

3- Prepare the needed financial reports, monthly closing, and monthly reports in compliance with Vitas policies and procedures.

4- The ability to prepare entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, and document business transactions.

5- Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting system and accounting control procedures.

6- Review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness.

7- Has the ability to assist in Preparing budgets, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents.

8- Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits.

9- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation.

10- Perform other duties that may be assigned by management.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting

. Minimum 5 years experience in relevant professional experience.

· Experience with financial institutions is plus.

· V.Goog in English.

· Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.

· Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

· Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
