Senior Accountant

Location: Ramallah

General Purpose

The senior accountant is responsible lor applying accounting principles ana procedures to analyze financial information, prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.

Specific responsibilities, duties and oversight will include:
Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts
Ensure financial records are maintained In compkance with accepted policies and procedures.
Monitor and report the KPI's during the implementation phase ol the protects.
Ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met
Ensure accurate and timc-ty monthly, quarterly and year ond close.
Continuous management and support of budget and forecast actrwoes.
Ensure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Prepare and follow-up all accounting Transaction on accounting software (daily entries. Payments, receipt. Banks....).
Manage Cash (lows on various prefects on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Prepare tor. and Liaise with External and internal Auditors, and Tax Authonties.

Education and Experience
-BA In accounting. Masters Is a phis
-Good knowledge of accounting practices and principal Knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
-Strong MS Office experience, including Excel. Word and PowerPoint.
-A minimum of 2 years experience in similar position.
