Senior Architect

PalAmara Consulting Engineers is locally recognized consulting firm that provides engineering, architecture and Construction management services in Palestine.

Palamara is seeking to hire a highly qualified candidate for the position of Program Senior Architect to join e to work on challenging and rewarding projects with the following minimum qualification and requirements

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Performing architectural calculations for spatial design and programming.
• Preparing designs, drawings, renderings, presentations, specifications, reports, and related materials
• Maintaining liaison with design and project management teams across the studio
• Preparing, reviewing, and drawings as required
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities with staff in other disciplines and departments participating in an assigned project
• Preparing project specifications, compiling and analyzing relevant data
• Site visits and inspections
• Responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned major project, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions that best meets the client’s needs.

 Qualifications: 

• 10 years of related experience in Architecture or Engineering firm or demonstrated equivalency of experience
• BA/BS Degree in Architecture or Engineering
• Jerusalem ID, or ability to work in West Bank and East Jerusalem.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in English, especially writing skills
• Proficient in Arabic
• Basic Hebrew reading skills a plus
• Experience as an Architect on a variety of building types, especially Healthcare
• Construction experience
• Experience with AutoCad , Autodesk Revit
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• Public speaking skills

• Previous Experience in USAID projects is an asset.
