Senior Back-end Developer

ASAL Technologies, the largest software house in Palestine, is looking for a Senior Back-end Developer. The ideal candidate would be excited about building and supporting SaaS applications.

As a Senior Back-end Developer, you will build an application which provides a sophisticated platform for Online Advertising Campaign Management, integrating with search engines such as Google, Yahoo, MSN and others.

Job Description

• Ability to own features from inception to deployment, working independently with stakeholders, and collaborating with other developer
• Provide technical guidance while applying best-practices and consciously improving the system performance

Qualifications

• Sc. degree in computer science or computer engineering
• 6+ years as a Java developer
• Experience with working on a highly-scalable system
• Excellent analytical skills
• Excellent object oriented design skills and core Java understanding
• Understanding design patterns and the utilization when solving problems
• Knowledge in back-end architecture
• Excellent internal (how-it-works) understanding of one or more open source framework
