Senior Back-end Developer

A leading software company in Ramallah is looking for a qualified, enthusiastic, and ambitious Senior Back-end developer to join the team. Junior Back-end developer is required to work in teams alongside all project members. The primary role is in developing high-quality backend services with a specific emphasis on long-term maintainability, resilience, and high scalability.

The main responsibilities are:

• Developing SOAP / Rest APIs: You will be responsible for designing and developing APIs that adhere to industry standards and are secure, reliable, and scalable.
• Integration with other systems: You will need to integrate the APIs with other systems, such as databases, messaging systems, and third-party APIs.
• Testing and debugging: You will need to test and debug your APIs to ensure that they are working as expected and to fix any issues that arise.
• Security and authentication: You will need to ensure that your APIs are secure and that users are properly authenticated before accessing sensitive data.
• Performance optimization: You will need to optimize the performance of your APIs to ensure that they can handle a high volume of requests without slowing down.
• Documentation: You will need to document your APIs, including their functionality, inputs, outputs, and error messages so that other developers can use them effectively.
• Maintenance and support: You will need to maintain and support your APIs, including fixing bugs, making updates, and providing support to other developers who use them.

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Solid experience in object-oriented programming and developing software in C# .net core 6 or more.
• Knowledge of Linux environments
• Knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases is an advantage
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Shell scripting.
• Experience in consuming RESTful APIs, such as Postman, SoapUI, or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Serverless and Codecommit.
• Knowledge understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Experience using management tools such as JIRA.
• Excellent communication skills with members, staff, and individuals in the community in a professional manner.
• High skills in the ability to estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities.
• Very good in English writing and speaking
• Experience in Project Management
