Senior Data Reduction / Compression Algorithm Researcher

ASAL Technologies is a leading regional Software and IT Services company based in Rawabi– Palestine.

We are seeking a Senior data reduction / compression algorithm esearcher to join our team and help take it forward to the next level.

Responsibilities

-         Design data compression (Video, image, structured) processing algorithms for SW implementations.
-         Design efficient data paths and architectures.

Qualifications

-         Experience in software design, problem solving and debugging.
-         Experience with SAN functions including data #deduplication, replication and synchronization
-         Experience with #MATLAB, Python and/or C++ programming
-         Experience in regenerating codes and distributed storage systems.
-         Experience with #Lossless compression techniques
-         MS or PhD in Computer Science or Applied Math.
-         Creative and innovative.
