Senior general affairs officer/budgetadministrator

General features of the job
• The senior general affairs officer/accountant is primarily responsible for performing accounting activities involving bookkeeping regarding the mission’s operational and development budgets;
• The senior general affairs officer/accountant is responsible for assessing budgets and financial reports of development organisations;
• The senior general affairs officer/accountant takes decisions when assessing the accuracy and completeness of financial information and changes to it.
• The senior general affairs officer/accountant is playing an important role in personnel related matters, such as health insurance, taxation, permits, etc;
• The senior general affairs officer takes decisions about the interpretation and implementation of regulations and whether they are being correctly applied.
Requirements:
• proven extensive working experience in financial management and development programs;
• Fluent in English, Arabic and Hebrew both written and spoken;
• Knowledge of Dutch is an asset;
• Have a good, relevant network of suppliers;
• Proven supervisory skills;
• Ability to freely travel in the West Bank and Israel;
• A good team worker.
