Senior Grants and Compliance Manager

LOCATION: Ramallah, West Bank, with travel throughout West Bank/Gaza
DURATION: 3 Years

SUMMARY:
Relief International (RI) is currently recruiting Senior Grants and Compliance Manager candidates for an anticipated multi-year, USAID-funded Civic Participation Program in West Bank/Gaza. The program will reinvigorate civic participation in the Palestinian Authority (PA) decision-making process, in the monitoring and oversight of government institutions, and in the broader public sector discourse in order to ensure a more vibrant and robust democratic dialogue between the government and the citizens of the future Palestinian state. The Senior Grants and Compliance Manager will be responsible for the management and oversight of the all grants under the different components of the civil society program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-A university degree in international development, social science, finance, business administration,
or related field is required.
-At least 8 years of experience in administering small grants in an international development
program, including experience in grants design, negotiation, and administration of civil society related grants.
-Knowledge of the region and particularly of the West Bank and Gaza is strongly desired.
-References for the last three years of work experience are required and will be verified.
-English and Arabic language proficiency are both required.
-A thorough knowledge of and experience regarding grants administration, contracting, and procurement regulations is strongly desired.
