Job Title: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Duty Station: Ramallah

Sustainable Engineering Solutions (SES), a multi-disciplinary consulting company located in Ramallah-El Bireh is seeking to hire a highly qualified Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team for a short term assignment with the following minimum qualification and requirements:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform detailed mechanical design and design verification for water and wastewater and associated facilities.
Perform mechanical design calculations and standard computations.
Prepare preliminary and detailed CAD drawings.
Prepare technical specifications and bill of quantities.
Responsible for mechanical part selection taking into consideration obsolescence, availability and cost
Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design reviews
Responsible for preparing design reports.
Adhere to the project schedule and ensure timely completion from conception to implementation.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related degrees.
Minimum 12 years of relevant work experience in water/wastewater projects.
Successful completion of min. 2 assignment as a wastewater engineer for infrastructure projects.
Experience in preparation of specifications and bill of quantities.
Good command of written and spoken English
