BIT Co. seeks a senior .Net Programmer for a full time permanent role, based mainly in its main office in Ramallah, with the following description and specifications:

Job Description:

Application developer with at least 5 years of Microsoft .NET development experience.  The selected developer will work in small teams and independently on projects that will be developed in C# using Visual Studio 2010.  Projects will include development in ASP.NET, Web Services, Middle Tier, and Windows Forms.

• Architecting and developing Windows and Web Applications using .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, XML, Web Services, and SQL.
  

• Help develop estimates for system design and custom programming.
  

• Provide detailed analysis and design for enhancements and custom programming.
  

• Testing, debugging, and providing written technical documentation.
  

• Incorporates best practices and lessons learned in application and solution development.
  

• Analyze user requirements, define solutions, and provide recommendations for optimal solutions and manage execution to successful implementation.
  

• Support the Helpdesk Tickets.
  

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher in  Computer Science.

• Five to Seven years’ experience working with .NET Programming.
  

• Working experience in Microsoft SQL Server, TSQL Language, SQL Reporting Services, SQL   Integration Services, and Crystal Reports.
  

• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint is a plus.
  

• Proven ability to work with a team and multi-task.
  

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively with other team members.
  

• Ability to effectively communicate with customers in non-technical terms.
  

• Knowledge of and experience with industry best practices to streamline development and allow the  software to be easily maintainable and extendable.
