Senior Programme Manager, Integrity Education Network, Jerusalem

 
The mission of Tiri’s Integrity Education Network (IEN) is to introduce and advance applied teaching, training and empirical research in the application of public and private sector integrity, particularly through long-term partnerships with leading universities and other educational institutions.

Tiri seeks a dynamic, reliable and experienced Senior Programme Manager (SPM) to be based in Jerusalem. SPM will work under the guidance and direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer and IEN Programme Director.
 
Main tasks and responsibilities

- Support IEN Programme Director to ensure the proper grant and financial management of programme activities in the different countries;
- Managing the day-to-day activities, budgets, plans, expenditures, implementation, and evaluation of the programme initiatives;
- Donor management and co-ordination of workshops and courses;
- Ensure that all activities of the programme are conducted in the right time and according to standards set by Tiri by coordinating and acting as the main liaison with country partners;
- Review and comment on request for payments and ask for any additional requirements or supporting documents to ensure proper book keeping of the project;
- Gathering and analyzing financial reports provided by country partner organizations;
- Attending relevant planning and evaluation meetings with Tiri staff and follow up actions.

 
Qualifications/Skills required

- Advanced University degree preferably in political science, international relations, public policy or related field.
- Seven to ten years experience working in universities or non-governmental organisations, preferably in the governance, anti-corruption/ integrity/ ethics fields.
- Previous training experience in the above mentioned fields and ability to transfer knowledge to senior people.
- Proven experience in project management, monitoring and evaluation.
- Proven managerial experience and skills, including ability to manage multicultural teams.
- Excellent negotiating and networking skills, preferably with universities or public institutions in developing countries;
- Strong interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of other languages is an asset;
- Willingness to travel internationally;

 
Duty station: Jerusalem; with frequent travel to programme-based countries.
