BA/LGHR is recruiting a Senior Site Engineer/Site Manager for a private contractor and real estate developer located in Jericho, Palestine, and specializing in building villas.

Reporting to: General Manager/ Owner

Type of Contract: Annual

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Creating plans for new construction projects.
2. Managing and overseeing construction projects.
3. Determining budgets, project schedules, and scope of work and assigning tasks for the staff.
4. Directing, leading, and supporting site engineers and professional staff in managing and executing multiple tasks and projects.
5. Communicating with the site engineers team in the areas of forecasting materials, sub-contract management, etc.
6. Evaluating completed projects to ensure they satisfy all guidelines and specifications.
7. Preparing cost estimation and ensuring appropriate materials and tools are available.
8. Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and other professional staff.
9. Providing technical advice, solving problems on-site, and suggestions for improvement on particular projects.
10. Adhering to the best practices, health, and safety standards and procedures of the company.
11. Preparing reports as required.

Special Requirements & Skills: 

1. Previous experience in project site management.
2. Hands-on experience in managing contractors and sub-contractors.
3. Ability to produce progress reports and charts for the owner.
4. Ability to prepare (VO) reports and review claims.
5. Ability to coordinate supplier’s delivery schedules.
6. Ability to review designs and on-site construction drawings
7. Ability to work flexible hours.
8. In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
9. Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
10. Strong managerial, leadership, and organizational skills.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
12. Valid driving license.

Total Years of Experience: 

Minimum 7 - 15 years of relevant experience.

Education & Certificates Required:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering Project Management or similar.

Languages Required:

Arabic
