Job Title: TR 001: Senior Software Developer
Location: Beit Jala, Palestine

Transcend is in search for a serious, dynamic and dedicated senior software developer for an international project.

General Qualifications:
A minimum of Bsc in the field.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in software development projects
High proficiency in spoken and written English.
Excellent team work and communications skills
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
Leadership Skills and commitment to quality

Technical skills:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience (Essential):
Coding and development proficiency in at least one Object Oriented programming language such as – Java or C++ / C#, or solid experience in a scripting language such as Python.
2 years working in enterprise development
Good knowledge in database query language such as SQL, XQuery, XPath etc.
Solid understanding of XML technology, Database, XML Schemas and XSLT transforms
Knowledge of http protocols.  For the lead, experience with RESTful calls, SOAP calls, or other APIs.
Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and JQuery 
Database experience (Oracle, MySql server)
Knowledge in Natural Language Processing  (NLP), Semantics
Experience with MarkLogic/NoSQL, SPARQL
