Senior Systems Analyst

ULTIMIT has a lucrative opportunity (in the Gulf Region) for a Senior Systems Analyst (more than 10 years experience as System Analyst, Bachelor degree in computer science or software engineering or related fields with a Masters degree a plus) to join a dynamic Software Solutions Company that delivers innovative solutions to our customers. The selected candidate will work in the Gulf Region and be responsible for gathering and documenting requirements various software projects ranging from large scale new development for external customer to incremental enhancements for existing applications. In addition, the selected candidate will work with technical leads to formally document the system design specifications for all delivered solutions.

The Senior Systems Analyst (SSA) is a technical problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a team environment (as well and individually). This SSA will work independently with minimal direction on small to large projects. This position requires a proactive, detail oriented team player who has an understanding of how systems applications can provide solutions to business problems and objectives.

Primary Responsibilities
-Interviews business partners to understand project objectives, use cases and testable requirements, defines project scope, and recommends solutions to project issues.
-Gains a functional understanding of the existing application(s) as well as the newly defined project requirements for small to large sized projects.
-Works independently with minimal guidance/oversight
-Evaluates design of existing systems to judge their functionality, effectiveness, reliability, performance, usage, maintainability and cost of ownership.
-Uses influential skills to collaborate with business partners.
-Fosters teamwork and spirit of collaboration and commitment within the project team.
-Contributes to team project planning and to on-time and on-budget project goals.
-Create and maintain the SDS (System Design Specification) documentation throughout the development lifecycle (independently or as part of a team)
-Reviews test plans and test cases for accuracy and thoroughness
-Triage production issues to determine impact to business partners and analysis resolve issue
