Palestine Polytechnic University’s (PPU) Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (CECD), established with the support of the Youth Entrepreneurship Development Program, aims at improving employability and entrepreneurship opportunities for young Palestinians by partnering with relevant institutions across the public, private, and civil society sectors. CECD provides on-going, specialized employability and entrepreneurship training and services to undergraduates and unemployed graduates of the university and the surrounding areas.
 
Job Description and Responsibilities
CECD recently added the component of service learning to its services package offered with additional support from International Youth Foundations’ Youth Entrepreneurship Development program. CECD seeks to recruit a coordinator that will handle all activities of this component. The Service Learning coordinator shall directly report to the CECD Coordinator.

The training coordinator is expected to perform the following tasks:
-Coordinate and oversee implementation of all service learning & training activities.
-Budgeting and procurement of service learning activities.
-Communications involved in Service learning activities in Arabic and English.
-Supporting service learning beneficiaries with resources for their initiatives.
-Monitoring activities and assuring effectiveness of each.
-Preparing weekly and monthly reports.


Requirements and qualifications
-A bachelor degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Project management, information technology, engineering or related fields.
-Minimum of two years experience in executive work
-Experience in project management is a plus.
