SCOPE OF WORK:

The interpreter will work with the HI staff to assist the cerebral palsy & Psychomotor development training trainer in interpretation from English to Arabic and vice versa during the training times.

The interpreter role will be to interpret the speech of the trainer and the trainees from English to Arabic and vice versa. The interpreter will translate all of the handouts, materials, and work papers needed for the training and submitted by the trainer.

Specific duties requested from the Provider:

-Interpretation from English to Arabic and vice versa.
-Translate all of the handouts and training materials needed for the training.
-Liaise with Handicap International staff regarding the training


Time Frame and Work Plan:
The interpreter will work for 9 training days in Oct. 2011 and Nov.2011, daily from 09:00am to 01:00pm.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:

Mandatory:
-Degree in one of medical sciences
-Experience working in the field of occupational therapy/ physiotherapy
-Experience in Medical terminology
-Fluent in English and Arabic
-Good skills in using MS Office software (MS Excel, Access and MS PowerPoint)

REQUIRED LANGUAGE SKILLS:
-Very good level of written and spoken English.
