Shuttle Coach


For a period of 7 months

The Candidate will:
Define, in coordination with the team, the activities work plan related to the entrepreneurial initiatives.
Define and manage the relationships with the pertinent stakeholders and actors.
Establish a work plan with the participants of the project in order to coordinate, prepare, address and develop a clear training methodology to implement.
Coordinate between the various on-going projects, and manage the synergies and joint activities.
Support project beneficiaries to prepare business plans and cash flow statements for the on-going Income Generating Activities.
Assist and provide technical and financial advice for the project beneficiaries to purchase the required tools and materials for the re-establishment of Income Generating Activities
Assist in the preparation of time schedules and household survey tools.
Propose solutions and improvements relating to project progress.
Assist in preparing and updating beneficiary files for each business category.
Assist in preparing monitoring plans and implementation procedures for each activity.
Participate in the data collection for project activity evaluation or for communication purposes under the supervision of the Food Security and Livelihood (FSL) Head of Project.
Train beneficiary women participating in the action in the specific areas related to entrepreneurship.
Elaborate all training materials and work methodology to develop the entrepreneurship technical training together with the Field Officer Assistants and FSL Head of Project.
Support in knowledge transfer within the FSL department in Gaza base.
Collect and update context information and household vulnerabilities in order support the development of the departmental strategy.
Participate in the elaboration of the defined capitalization process in the final products that are generated from the project: manuals, guides, etc.
Collect the completed questionnaires from the field on a daily basis.
Follow up the data entry for collected data.
Participate in the planning of capitalization process of project outcomes.
Report daily of field activities to the FSL Head of Project (materials delivered, work achieved, beneficiaries’ attendance, obstacles and constraints) taking into consideration reporting requirements and monitoring and/or evaluation tools and indicators
Participate in the preparation of the monthly "Activity Progress Reports" (APRs) and submit them to the FSL Head of Project and FSL Program Manager.
Participate in the preparation and collection of data for communication, advocacy and capitalization purposes (case studies, etc).


Profile of the Candidate:
Bachelor degree in Economics, Business Administration or any other related field.
Postgraduate in Human Resources; Entrepreneurship; Management of Groups; Marketing and Sales; Communications; Emotional Intelligence.
Livelihoods program implementation, preferably in the Gaza Strip.
Knowledge of business plans development is a requirement.
Past experience in the business sector and/or supervising projects focusing on Income Generating Activities will be an asset.
Proven relevant field experience in food security context in the Gaza Strip.
Valuable training in Coaching/mentoring, preferably coaching of groups, personal and emotional.
Experience of working with groups in risk of social exclusion and/or disadvantaged communities in the area of intervention.
Knowledge in humanitarian or emergency or development programming is a plus.
Fluency in reading, writing and speaking Arabic and English.
Fully proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
Able to travel to the West Bank and Jerusalem and stay overnight.
