Site Engineer

Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1994 in Poland. PAH runs both local and overseas operations. We have been running the mission in the oPt since 2006 focusing on water - sanitation and education.
PAH implements its overseas assistance in WASH Sector through its missions in West Bank/Gaza, South Sudan and Somalia.

PAH is seeking an experienced civil engineer, to work as a Site Engineer for its UNICEF funded WASH Project, currently being implemented in schools in West Bank - Tulkarm and Qalqilia Districts.
Location: Tukarm, Qalqilia, West Bank, oPt
Duration: Four months fixed term contract
Position: Full – time, 40 working hours per week
Starting date: 1st of June 2012


Key qualifications and Skills: 
-bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
-registered in Engineers Association – Jerusalem Centre;
-minimum 3 years of proved, relevant work experience on construction site;
-good organizing skills;
-ability to solve technical tasks on their own, keep track of documentation, ability to find solutions to new issues;
-independency;
-ability to work under time pressure;
-good team worker;
-fluent in spoken and written English;
-ability to write reports in English;
-valid driving licence;
