Site Engineers

Polish Humanitarian Action (PAH) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1994 in Poland. PAH runs both local and overseas operations. We have been running the mission in the oPt since 2006 focusing on water-sanitation and education.
PAH implements its overseas assistance in WASH Sector through its missions in West Bank/Gaza, South Sudan and Somalia.

PAH is seeking three experienced civil engineers, to work as  Site Engineers (each working in one of the below enumerated locations) for its UNICEF funded WASH Project.
Locations:
1-South Nablus, Nablus and Salfit Districts, West Bank, oPt
2-Tulkarem and Qalqilia Districts, West Bank, oPt
3-Hebron and South Hebron Districts, West Bank, oPt

Duration: Four months fixed term contract
Position: Full – time, 40 working hours per week
Starting date: 15th-20th of July 2013


Key qualifications and Skills:
-bachelor's degree in civil engineering;
-registered in Engineers Association – Jerusalem Centre;
-minimum 3 years of proved, relevant work experience on construction site;
-valid driving licence and an available car (required);
-good organizing skills;
-ability to solve technical tasks on their own, keep track of documentation, ability to find solutions to new issues;
-independency;
-ability to work under time pressure;
-good team worker;
-fluent in English;
-ability to write reports in English;
