Social Media & Public Relations Officer-Ramallah (RM/2/2022)

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a social media strategy for AlNayzak Organization. 
  • Maintaining the organization’s social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, linkedIn, Instagram and YouTube Channel. 
  • Preparing and supervising the production of publicity brochures, handouts, direct mail leaflets, promotional videos, photographs, films and multimedia programs.
  • Collaborate with the programs team to plan and take engaging content for social media.
  • Launch social media campaigns and implement strategies for individual content posts.
  • Creating a local and global network through a database for donors, NGO and private sector persons, and social media influencers to enhance awareness on AlNayzak Organization locally and globally.  
  • Measure and report on social media activity and campaigns- as requested.
  • Basic theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, CorelDraw and illustrator, Photoshop or any other software in Adobe Suite.
  • Developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns.
  •  Researching, writing and distributing press invitations and press releases to targeted media.
  • Organizing and attending promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and visits.
  • Collecting and analyzing media coverage.
  • Translating and editing English publications in addition to outgoing material of the organization.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Media, English, public relations or any related specialization.
  • At least 3+ years’ of proven experience in social media management and digital media and marketing.

Skills and Attributes: 

  • Ability to work with different age groups. 
  • Knowledge in coordinating activities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Report writing skills in both languages (Arabic and English).
  • Ability to work in different locations and areas. 
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills both in Arabic and English.
  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Highly resourceful – a “self-starter” with initiative and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently, as well as perform as a member of a team.
  • Creativity and positive energy for making a difference in a healthy work environment.
