Social Media Specialist

The Palestinian Counselling Centre ( PCC) is part of a consortium of six partner organizations ( Oxfam Novib , PARC , PMRS , Juzoor and WCLAC) working on a project entitled “ Protect the Rights and Improve the Resilience of Vulnerable Communities in East Jerusalem.
The project is funded by the EC and Co-financed by Oxfam Novib . The PCC is looking to hire on a part time basis a :

Responsibilities :
-Manage and develop social media presence across relevant sites and platforms ( e.g., Facebook , Twitter , Pinterest , You Tube , company blog and other social media communities ) .
-Develop a social media strategy which focuses on the continual growth , engagement , visibility & awareness.
-Build , engage , and monitor online audiences and their communities via content creation for blogs , reviews and additional social communities .
-Ensure that community questions are addressed in a timely manner .
-stablish consistent messages across multiple social media sites .
-Test new and emerging methods to leverage social media .
-Develop and implement monthly editorial / social media calendars .
-Ongoing measurement of the impact of social media .
-Responsible for all weekly , monthly , quarterly and ad hoc reports assessing social media .

Experience and qualifications :
-1 - 2 years of social media , Journalism and / or PR experience .
-Experience creating and executing social media strategies that build a fan base , increase engagement and drive traffic and conversions.
-Highly organized , keen attention to detail , exceptional ability to multi - task complimented with the ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast paced environment.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills .
-Must be highly creative , passionate and driven.
