Software Developer

ASAL Technologies is a leading Regional Software and IT Services Company based in Ramallah – Palestine. ASAL Technologies is currently seeking software developers to be involved producing agile applications, frameworks, and cloud/web services. The new applications and services interact with different platforms to enable new sets of features, capabilities, and products for customers.

Job Requirements:
-B.Sc. in computer science, software engineering, or other IT disciplines.
-Hands-on experience in agile software development, database/web systems, and multiple release cycles.
-Strong theory/algorithms background and very good understanding on how to apply advanced knowledge to solve real problems.
-Solid object-oriented programming skills and good grasp of tools used in the particular research discipline.
-Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating prototype systems.
-Strong analytical and organizational skills.
-Methodical approaches to solving technical challenges with high attention to detail and data accuracy.
-Highly motivated and self-reliant individual with true willingness to work as part of a team.
-Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to learn new technologies and to act proactively.
-Extra credit: Experience with web services, web scripting languages, Java, and/or Microsoft platforms/technologies (C#.Net, Windows Azure, WCF, WPF, Silverlight, C++, and TFS).
-Experience with mobile application development (on iOS, Android, or WP7), data mining, search engines, and/or multimedia/entertainment applications is a plus.
