Software Development Manager

Summary

Our company is looking for a Software Development Manager to oversee a development team. Our ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science, as well as no less than 5 years of experience in the field. In this role, you will oversee each aspect of the development process, and act as the liaison between your team and upper management regarding your team projects. You should be skilled in different programming languages, including c#.Net, HTML, SQL, Javascript and have a profound understanding of n-tier architecture, the MVC pattern and other frameworks. You should also be experienced with both database and application development as well as in using version control and team collaboration tools.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and delegate duties to the development team
• Establish development standards for the team
• Create timelines for the development project
• Reviewing and enhancing code with the development team
• Supervising the team to implement proper team collaboration practices
• Collaborating with the QA team to produce impeccable products with regards to accuracy, security, and performance
• Assist in System Design and Analysis
• Assist in documentation of System Design and Architecture

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or computer science
• Professional software development experience
• Management experience
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Strong documentation skills
• Experience with the .NET Framework
• Experience with Database Management Systems
• Experience with team collaboration and version control tools
• Experience in working with ERP, CRM and HR systems is a plus
