Software Engineers

Global Software Services, Inc. is seeking Senior Software Engineers with strong web and
Java application development skills to fill three key software development positions.
Primary responsibilities require working with a US based team to maintain and grow an
established online SaaS application.
Position1: Sr. PHP Developer
PHP developer will be doing both front-end and back end PHP development and should have strong front-end skills, including HTML, CSS, and Javascript. You should also be comfortable working in a LAMP environment and must be able to clearly understand requirements and ask questions to obtain clarity when in doubt.
Requirements:
– 3+ Years PHP coding in conjunction with MySQL
– 3+ Years HTML, CSS, Javascript experience
– Experience using public APIs to create mashup by integrating multiple service together (i.e. Google Maps + Yahoo Local APIs)
– Object Oriented Programming Experience
– Intuitive knowledge of database structures and systems
– Proficiency with troubleshooting and problem solving
– Excellent English written / verbal communication skills
– FTP/SSH/Versioning systems usage skills
– Must Be HTML fluent and able to hand code without the use of a WYSIWYG
Position2: Sr. Flash Developer
Flash developer will be working on a flash application that integrates and animates user generated content, photographs, audio, and video to create a cutting edge and elegant experience. Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Flash development and have strong AS3 skills. Must be proficient creating code based animation and motion graphics, and have experience integrating Flash video.
Requirements:
– 3+ Years Flash development experience
– Pixel perfect design and creativity is a must
– Experience with XML and AS3 (Action Script 3)
– Experience using public APIs to create flash mashup by integrating multiple service together
– Proficiency with troubleshooting and problem solving
– Excellent English written / verbal communication skills
– FTP/SSH/Versioning systems usage skills
Position3: Sr. Interaction Designer
UI designer will be working on designing and prototyping the next generation user experience for both HTML/web application and a flash based web application.
Ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of web UI design and prototyping experience.
Must be proficient in understanding different user personas and keep the end users goals in mind. Must build a customer focused experience.
Requirements:
– 3+ Years graphic design experience
– Highly creative with pixel perfect design
– Experience with the various design tools (Illustrator, Photoshop, Indesign, etc.)
– Must Be HTML/CSS proficient
– Excellent English written / verbal communication skills
– FTP/SSH/Versioning systems usage skills
