The Jerusalem Center for Women is a Palestinian non-profit, non-governmental organization,
founded in 1994 in East Jerusalem, and now located in Ramallah. We aim to empower
Palestinian women by enhancing their capabilities to be active and resilient agents of change
within their own communities. This directly evolves ensuring the full realization of Jerusalemite
and West Bank Palestinian womens rights and enhance their participation and visibility in all
aspects of the Palestinian society. We work towards this goal by spreading the culture of
human rights, gender equality, justice, and acceptance of the other.

egalitarian Palestinian society.

JCW is seeking a skilled Spanish Interpreter. The ideal candidate will have excellent language skills in Spanish and Arabic, with the ability to effectively facilitate communication between Spanish-speaking individuals and Arabic-speaking counterparts. The role will involve interpreting conversations, meetings, conferences, and documents accurately and impartially.

• Provide clear and accurate interpretation between Spanish and Arabic speakers.
• Interpret spoken communication in real-time during meetings, conferences, and other events.
• Translate written documents from Spanish to Arabic and vice versa.
• Ensure confidentiality and impartiality in all interpretations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective communication.

• Fluency in both Spanish and Arabic (written and spoken).
• 1-3 years of past work experience in Intrepretation.
• Holding a Bachelor degree in Spanish Language.
• Proven experience as a Spanish Interpreter.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of Spanish and Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and punctuation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and neutrality.
• Familiarity with cultural differences and sensitivity.
• Professional certification or training in interpretation.
