Storekeeper - Middle Area

OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
Executing the stock management activities (receipt, storage, and issuance to projects supplies, food and non-food items, tools, equipment and/ or other logistics materials), according to the line manager’s instructions and HI standards and protocols.
Specific responsibilities:
- Provides material handling requirements for the movement of goods in the warehouse.
- Refers to internal procedures established by HI on a daily basis.
- Reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Works with colleagues, partner organizations and transporters.
- Follows the instructions of the Warehouse Supervisor regarding the proper handling and storage of goods, as well as the associated safety instructions.
- Reports any anomaly concerning the goods handled and stored as well as the buildings and make proposals to resolve the situation.
- Carries out minor maintenance work in the warehouse.
- Monitor teams of daily handlers.

Job profile requirements:
- Desirable secondary education and warehouse management related studies.
- Qualifications in the field of logistics.
- More than one year in storekeeper position;
- Experience in an international NGO is a plus, HI previous experience is preferable.
- Ability to read, write and speak basic English (minimum level required).
- Proficient: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Good organizational skills;
