System Engineer

FIS is a leading IT and Business solutions firm, that provides a blend of technology solutions and specialized in Software, network security for the local market for over the last 25 years.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network security, Windows Server management, VMWare, and other related tasks. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage network security solutions.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Deploy and manage virtualization technologies, particularly VMWare.
• Monitor system performance and ensure availability and reliability.
• Perform regular system updates, backups, and disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A least 3 years Proven experience as a System Engineer or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of network security protocols and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
• Proficiency in VMWare and other virtualization technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MCSE, VCP, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with ITIL practices and principles.
