AWS System Administrator

Safarway is a new startup in tourism, is looking for a System Administrator in Amazon Web Services for a key role within our team.

Creating a cloud based infrastructure to help the software team using Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) resources (e.g. subnets, network access control lists, and security groups).

Creating and maintaining scripts to spin up and spin down instances required for application on demand.

Configuring storage, database, backup, email services, load balancing, CDN and web server security and set required permissions.

Maintaining all the security compliances like passwords, key rotation policies.

Creating various types of alerts (also refer as Pager Duty alerts) that monitor systems health and report any issues if they occur.

Utilizing the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) features for provisioning, monitoring, scaling and distribution of compute infrastructure.

Creating and utilizing Amazon EC2-VPC subnets. Leverage AWS capabilities (scalability, elasticity, and high availability) to assist cost reductions. You will tag and monitor the running instances and utilize them to perform the required tasks with best performance and minimum cost.

The applicant will start as freelancer and will be full time by the beginning of 2019.
