Job Description

We are looking for software developers to join our professional services team and to be engaged in the development and delivery of service-oriented integration solutions. This role requires a confident customer facing individual that is capable of delivering and presenting solutions from conception through to delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing complex integration interfaces with enterprise application systems.
• Integration with middleware and enterprise applications.
• Design and develop Business Rules.
• Development in the areas of process flow, business logic and user interface
• Create and work with XML, predefined, and undefined data formats.
• Apply Coding standards and best practices.
• Test, debug and trouble shoot codes and modules.
• Requirement gathering and documentation.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in standards/technologies related to web services and messaging including WSDL, SOAP, XML, XPath, XSLT, WSDL, RESTful API, JMS, JAXB and TCP/IP Sockets.
• Experience in designing, building and testing Java/J2EE applications.
• Experience in Web Services using SOA and REST architectures.
• Experience in Microservices architecture.
• Excellent application performance tuning skills
• Experience in Web technologies and scripting languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JSON, AJAX and java scripts.
• Experience in Relational Database Management Systems such as Oracle, SQLServer and DB2 (SQL and PL/SQL).
• Experience in DB design and UML modeling techniques.
• Experience in code versioning and management systems including GIT.
• Ability to debug, troubleshoot functional and performance issues, and performing and supporting problem determination and resolution.
• Strong Application Lifecycle management concepts and methodologies
• Self-motivated, hard worker, challenger and willing to learn new technologies.
• Fast learner and passionate to learn new technologies.
• Team Player and able to work on own or within project teams.

• Knowledge or familiarity in the following would be considered an asset: 
  • Linux/Unix/AIX operating systems
  • Dockers and Kubernetes
  • Cloud Computing
  • Mobile development

Working with IBM products such as BPM, IBM MQ, IBM Message Broker, WebSphere Application Server, API Connect, DataPower and ODM (huge plus)
