Technical Coordinator - Social Services
Job Description
QADER is the local technical partner of the municipalities of Jericho, Beit Fajjar, Halhul, Idna, Yatta, and Samou’ for implementing model projects titled “Addressing the social needs of persons with disabilities through the Local Authority”, funded by the Italian Government (PMSP Programme) through Ministry of Local Government.
The projects are designed upon a model that introduces new role and functioning of partner municipalities in the social sector, and it aims at addressing the needs of persons with disabilities in the particular locations of these municipalities.
QADER is the local partner for the aforementioned municipalities and is responsible to provide the technical expertise to implement the projects.
QADER seeks to recruit qualified professional in the position: Technical Coordinator
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
-Provide assistance to the Senior Disability Specialist and the Project Manager in the day-to-day implementation and oversight of QADER technical support and services.
-Provide oversight, technical advice and strategic management support to the project team and the staff in the community centers.
-Participate to the identification of staff training needs on technical aspects.
-Contribute to the development of processes and procedures for the social services in the community centers, conduct regular review and evaluation, and identify areas for development.
-Contribute to the design and development of computerized database for the social service division and the community center in partner municipalities.
-Contribute to the overall review of the implementation plans, including the preparatory and operational needs of the projects.
-Coordinate logistics support and ensure that the planned activities are carried out effectively and in timely manner.
-Liaise with implementing partners on coordination and execution of activities.
-Provide support in developing TORs for trainings, technical supports and other services as required.
-Oversee and manage implementation of project activities related to the community centers in close collaboration with key members of QADER’s team and partner municipalities.
-Follow-up on the timeliness, accuracy and quality of deliverables and reports from the partner municipalities.
-Ensure efficient internal monitoring of the project, and compliance with funders’ requirements.
-Collaborate to the writing of narrative reports, case studies, press releases, and other documents, as required.
-Prepare for workshops and meetings, and prepare minutes and reports accordingly, and follow up results with all concerned parties.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on all activities, and prepare analytical reports accordingly.
-Preparation and oversight of projects M&E Plans, and provide accurate information on the various activities in timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
-ACADEMIC ATTAINMENT & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
-At least Bachelor Degree in Disability / Rehabilitation related discipline, or any related field, Masters Degree is a plus.
-At least 4 years of proven experience in delivery of social services, supervision experience is a plus.
