TECHNICAL ENGINEER

COOPI - Cooperazione Internazionale, is an International Non-Governmental Organization operating in OPT since 2002. In the framework of the ECHO funded project ‘Livelihood enhancement project in West Bank and Gaza Strip” COOPI is looking for a competent and committed professionals for the position in Gaza Strip of:

Main Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the Technical Advisors and Area Coordinators to ensure a cohesive program approach.
Supervise the daily field activities, to ensure adequate performance and report to supervisors.
Conduct assessments and evaluation of program needs;
Ensure the proper development of the work according to COOPI procedures and timing.

Requirements

BA Civil Engineering or related fields;
At least three years of progressive relevant work experience;
Ability to train and lead project staff;
Demonstrated capacity of teamwork.
Experience in project management an advantage;
Fluent in English language (written and spoken). Proficiency in using standard computer applications (MS Office);
Resident in the area (Khan Younis) or willing to travel to field sites in the Strip
