Technical Engineer Supervisor

Technical Engineer Supervisor

Main responsibilities:
-Provide technical services and support for the following areas:
-Network level: WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security
-Internal systems, cloud and network infrastructure.
-Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint
-Unix Centos Operation and Administration
-Virtualization technologies: VMware, Hyper-V
-Remote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services.
-Remote monitoring and management of system alerts and notifications (Solarwinds, PRTG, Cacti)
-Perform network assessments and security audits
-Work with Sales Team to Engineer projects, identify new products and solutions, and research solutions for existing clients
-Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure
-Communication with customers as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outages
-Manage the ADSL Network as Well as the Microwave Network
-Implement, Design and Optimize the Microwave Network on Bnet
-Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution
-Manage and Operate LNS Cisco Routers acting as ADSL Aggregation
-Excellent Knowledge of AAA Solutions and Billing Platforms
-Manage Technical Team using KPI’s
-Continuous improvements on achieving KPI’s.
-Supports and coaches a group of Technical Engineers and prepares quarterly training plans.
-Ensures that all team members perform duties in accordance with corporate policies.
-Identifies the needed resources and assigns individual responsibilities.
-Manages and monitors the day-to-day operations of the Technical Department.
-Implements and develops general procedures for the Technical Department.
-Insures customers’ satisfaction through the technical service level that we provide.
-Sets monthly visits to all BNet branches and reports back to the management with the branch needs and performance.
-Continuous communication with the vendors Technical Team.
-Prepares internal reports to measure Quality or Service and Service Availability.
-Reviews and discusses KPI’s Management.
-Performs other duties as and when requested by the direct supervisor.
Job Requirements:
-Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Communication, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering.
-5-7 years' experience in Service Providers (Internet) with Management Position
-Switching (Capacity Planning & VLAN’s)
-Routing (OSPF, RIPv2, BGP)
-WAN Technology (MPLS, VPLS, VPN)
-Voice Technologies (POTS, VoIP, SIP Trunking)
-Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIP
-Juniper (JNCIA-Junos) , (JNCIS-ENT), (JNCIS-SP)
-Familiarity with: VPNs, VOIP, SIP Trunking, BGP, VLAN, Large Scale Wireless Deployments
-Security software such as Anti-virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologies
-Knowledge of Microwave Products and Wireless Components
-Excellent Skills on AAA Solutions and Billing Systems
-Excellent Data Center Design Skills
-Excellent OS Hand On Skills (Unix, Windows)
