Technical Manager

Southern Electricity Company LTD SELCO is seeking to employ a full-time immediate  position

Supervising and Directing:
-Section Managers for Technical Operations
-Network Operation Functions (maintenance, control, regulation, inspection, meter installation and maintenance)
-Fault location and restoration
-Network Expansion Functions (trenching, cabling, overhead line construction, transformer and switching station installations, customer connection and disconnection

Major Qualifications:
-Higher degree at University level in electrical engineering (transformation and distribution of power)
-Knowledge and experience in electric utility operation, operational standards and safety regulations
-Ability to take initiative, communicate and motivate staff
-Interest in staff development and productivity improvements
-Minimum. 8 years relevant experience and proven leadership skills
-Age not more than 45 years

Other Requirements:
1-All applicants must have excellent oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
2. Ability to analyze data and information from
diverse sources to create comprehensive plans/reports.
3-Ability to handle multiple tasks and changing priorities.
4-Independent, resourceful, self-starter with high degree of comfort working with minimal directions and willingness to accept the direction provided.
5-Familiarity with business management practices.
6-Ability to work under pressure and leading a team or on individual assignments, and have strong time-management skills
